RAMPS grew out of the vision of founder Matt Bone, TAMU Class of 2023.  Matt had been a participant in his church's youth mission group for 7 years, an organization that focused on home repairs for those in need.  Matt was especially impacted by the projects that included building a wheelchair ramp.  The impact to the recipient was immediate, and frequently life-changing!

Matt felt strongly that in addition to helping members of the community, he also gained from the experience...it allowed him to learn construction skills, to practice leadership, teamwork, and organization.

Matt felt the Aggie Core Values made TAMU the perfect place for an organization with his mission...to provide home access to those in need.  RAMPS was established in 2020 and is a new and exciting opportunity for Aggies with a heart to serve.
